you guys hear about the United Way Bass Classic held on Evans lake in Youngstown??

$150 entry fee Pro side
$300 entry fee am side

I've got the forms for both if anyone is interested.............or look it up and download the forms from their website.

For those of you that don't know - Lake Evans is owned by Aqua Ohio and is closed off to fishing - they open it up for this tourney every year.......and there's some MONSTER bass in there!!!!

Best lake in Ohio! What is the date for the tourney his year? I haven't seen or heard too much about it.

the date is saturday june 5th...its a great tournament for a great cause, lots of giant ohio bass to be caught!

this is not entirely true, it IS closed to the public, however the will allow tournaments on their lakes but charge a hefty usage fee. take a look at the below links and you can see some tournament results for evans. scroll down the pages and you will see evans results and some pictures.

Dixie Marine Early Bird at Brookville Lake, Garr Hill Ramp. Entry fee including big bass pot is $115 (includes DNR fee) with 90% payback at the ramp. Tournament date is April 24, 2010. No membership required to fish!

Kokosing Valley Bass Club will be hosting a open on October 3 at Pleasnat Hill Lake, 7 am to 3 pm.
