Went Monday down a couple feet and the leaves are stacked up against the docks . The fish were close to the rear of the docks shallow less than 3 ft . Caught 3 about 2lbs with the best one around 3lbs fished from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The fish bit around lunch time .You need some wind or current on hickory to get bit and a worm is not producing for me. Try cranking off points or c-rig a big red shad worm on points if you like to drag a worm. Tight lines good fishing . A report on how you do is needed it may help me too. Thanks in advance

Lower end in winter, By the way when is the best time to fish Kerr Scott off hwy 268
best time to fish kerr scott is probably in the spring after the spawn.
I went for a few hours at hickory today but only caught a few on a crankbait, but it was nice to get out and run the boat
