Back finally....

Just got back from vacation. Was great seeing everyone at the rally. Winny was GREAT last week, I ended up with a slip about 300 yards from the Mt Washington all week. The days that I got out before hanging around the Weirs on the bike were a blast. Some smallies still on beds with some bigger ones just off the drops. Only downer was breaking off a few nice smallies one the 6lb line I had spooled on one of my spinning rods. Gonna stay with 10lb next year...lol.

Hmmmmm this rat? I didn't get to throw it on Winny. My boat was in a slip all week while there and I only left a couple of spinning rods, a box of "senkos" and hooks and a small box of inline spinners in the boat. Didn't want to chance any of my "good" gear walking away.

Threw my swim bait on Sampsons and also that little pond with the dirt ramp by ellis haven campground Everett, Had three pounders on it both places. Throw that thing in snip!!!

Snip is THE place for the rat and my Ms Slammer. Just have to find the time to get out there. Last time I was there I was throwing the slammer here n there and had several fish on it although I wasn't able to get any to the boat (lost in weeds or failure to hook up). I didn't have my rats at the time so I didn't get to use them on Snip but with all the critters I've seen swimming around there (muskrats?) the rats should be PERFECT! Any 2lb largemouth is big enough to take on the rat so there are plenty of fish in Snip that'll take one.
