1993 150 Fast Strike putting her away for a few months got some questions

I just got his motor this year and have ran about 6 tanks through it all with marine formula stabil and i need to get it ready to be put up. Here is what i plan to do to the motor could the experts please weigh in on my approach

    1. Use BRP engine tuner as specified on the can while on the lake. (1 can is enough right?)
    2. Take the boat off the lake and use BRP fogging oil as specified on the can in the driveway. (Do i get the can with the schreader valve? one can?) I plan to fog the engine until it dies as well as pulling the plugs and putting it in the cylinders.
    3. Replace the foot oil. (How much do it get? BRP brand?)
    4. Fill gas tanks up all the way and add storage amount of marine stabil

The boat will be stored outside in GA. high 20's and low 30's are possible.

    Thank you!

Decarb the motor first a weekend ahead of time and run it. The next weekend fog the motor in the water if you can. When it stalls pull the boat out of the water and pull the plugs, spray the fogging oil on the top side of the cylinders and bump the motor to coat the cylinders and the rings. Remove the prop and inspect the prop shaft for fishing line. Remove the line and reseal the Rear Bearing carrier. Drain/Fill the LU. Lube the propshaft with triple guard grease and torque to 85 ft lbs. Remove the hoses to the speedo and H20 gauge to keep them from freezing and breaking the bellows.

Thank you for the quick responce.
    My only other questions are
    1. Does my moter have a schreader valve for the tuner and fogging oil.
    2. What type of brp foot oil do I need? And how much?

Yes it has the schrader valve it is behind the airbox. I use BRP HPF XR 33 oz. You can get a kit that has a quart of fluid and the pump from your dealer if you don't have one already.

that is a ford/chevy thing to me, I like shooting it down the carb throats other techs like to use the schrader valve.

Correct you need 33 oz of LU fluid. Have fun.

Would you please elaborate on the importance of fogging an engine in the water?

If you can't run with the big dogs, just stay on the porch.

It doesn't matter either way Melvin as long as it gets done. Don't forget the fuel stabilizer.
