    Slot Limit Changes

Thought you guys might be interested in this:

The length regulations everyone has been asking about were passed last week by our Commission. Due to deadlines established by the Secretary of State’s office, the effective date has changed again. I found out today the effective date will be April 22, 2010.

The regulations most of you are interested in are the slot removal at Sardis and Enid and the 14-inch minimum added on Columbus/Aberdeen. Increased crappie limit (from 15 to 30) at Horn Lake and removal of the 10-inch crappie limit on Okatibbee Reservoir have also been asked about.

Again, the regulation changes will be effective April 22, 2010. I apologize for so much confusion in when the regulations would become effective. Forward this to as many people as you wish. I’ve posted on our website and we will be getting a press release out tomorrow.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.

So I assume for the state tx. April 30 we have to keep 14" fish? I don't know how that will fly being the TBF minimum is 12"
