anyone fished oconee latley???????

got a club T on sat., wondering if anyone has fished it recently? i haven't been since spring

A friend of mine fished the BFL event this past weekend and he zeroed. Out 170 something boats only 6 people brought in a limit. If I were going with out a chance to prefish I'd try buzzbaits around seawalls early, lavender shad cranks to cover water, and a black n blue jig in thick cover. C-rig points later in the day.

I belive it's supposed to be sunny and warm Saturday,so I'd be looking at skipping to the shady parts of docks with senkos,worms on jigheads,and that sort of thing.....good luck

170 boats 6 limits ?? Good thing they left some fish for us. I think dock fishing won the BFL from what I heard. I have had some success at Oconee finding docks with deep water and some brush piles in front of them. Our club is headed there the weekend of the 14-15th. Let me know how you do. I am headed up there this coming Sunday to see if I can find a pattern. Doesn't sound to promising though, maybe the water temps just need to drop a little more. Good luck!

well, it started out bad from the get go. went from sugar creek haulin butt to richland creek, then my oil warning went off , spent a while trying to fix that then said screw it, poured some oil in the tank and started fishin spots back to the ramp, with that damn horn hollerin all day , most spots that i have never fished before. only caught 1 keeper right at 2 lbs. i think about 14lbs won it, then there were 3 other sacks around 12.5lbs. we caught some fish, just couldn't get any 14 inchers.

That boat you got seems a little to nice to be fishing the waters around here especially these small creeks and dirty water....I left my 40,000.00 boat at home to keep it in fresh water. I have no way of flushing the engine here at the apt complex where they put as at...Thinking on moving closer to Stewart to be closer to the ponds.....
