I need some help... PLEASE. I am going to book a trip to lake guntersville on the 23 24 and 25 of this month. My mom is going to book it sense i am only 18. But i will be paying for everything. We are coming from atlanta ga. Does anybody here Own/ No of a house or cabins that are available. I have looked on vrbo but everything is booked for that date. My dad has done so much for me so i want this to be a memorable trip. ANY help will be Greatly appreciated.
As the earlier post said, there is the Fishers of Men Legacy National Championship tournament Friday and Sat 23rd and 24th. Expect well over 200 boats. It will be out of the State Park. Most that I know of that are traveling on from out of town are bringing families so lodging is really tight. If your dates are flexible, I would suggest moving it back a weekend. If not, cabins and houses are going to be almost impossible to come by.
You might give Curtis or Lawona Barns a call at Dodds Cove Cabins 256-582-4104. They also have a web site http://www.doddscovecabins.com They have only 2 cabins but they real nice and clean. Not far from Lake Front landing.
