So, why is it that in July and August the tournament is on the 2nd Saturday instead of the 3rd?

I had already marked the 17th on my calendar and just happened to look a minute ago and noticed the tournament was the 10th.

My Church is hosting a benefit golf tournament that day for the Lauderdale Christian Children's Home so I'll be there on the 10th (not that it is going to be any cooler... ).

They know you can't catch any fish and won't be a factor anyway!!

I think you are right but it was also voted on by everyone that was at the meeting we had last year.. I think there was another conflict as well though.

The other may have been a birthday, Her memory is better than his and i beleive she can out fish him too.

At the meeting, the 3rd Saturday is the starting point but all the dates get voted on. The May tournament was moved to the 4th Saturday to avoid the Mark's Outdoors Tournament on the 15th. I can't remember why July was moved but all the dates were discussed and voted on.

Maybe so. We're playing in Loretto, TN, so I'll be about 30 minutes from McFarland (if that's where it ends up being).

It's a lot easier for me to explain to people why I'm bad at golf than being bad at fishing.
