Dear Lord,
Please help Steve and his family in this time of overwhelming grief. He doesn't understand why his life is filled with this pain and heartache. But he turns his eyes to you as he seeks to find the strength to trust in your faithfulness. He will wait on you and not despair; he will quietly wait for your salvation. His heart is crushed, but he knows that you will not abandon him forever. Please show him your compassion, Lord. Help him through the pain so that he will hope in you again. He believes this promise in your Word to send him fresh mercy each day. Though he can't see past today, he trust your great love will never fail him.

WOW....that is pretty overwhelming. I appreciate it guys. Would have responded sooner, but haven't been on here much in a while due to being in Elba, AL with no internet or cell phone service. Mother-in-law passed away last week. Wife took it rough, but she is very strong, much stronger than I am or ever imagined, and doing well.
She is about to have a PET scan done. Been having some chest pain and they are going to make sure no recurrence. Doctor says most likely from radiation treatments. I think she had 33 ro 36, can't remember. He said it does a lot of damage to the muscles and bone and sometimes folks have some pain there.
I appreciate the prayers guys and hope to be fishing with you all again VERY soon.
