1991 175 GLEIS . I have low idle water pressure(4 psi) but over 26-28 at WOT. New water pump and housing/new tstats. I removed the rubber exhaust piece at the rear of the motor to replace it(dry rotted and cracked) and noticed the little nylon type reed/valve in the water pee hole center part was warped and about 1/2 open and not flush with the metal ring/washer. Is this ok or is it supposed to be flush against the metal ?
