Every Alabama Angler needs to be aware of this ...

If you didn't see Sundays paper Mike Bolton revealed a new law by DCNR
that will require idle speed only within 100 ft of a shoreline, dock or
    pier.

Here below is a link to Boltons article ....

That doesnt seem fair , My owners manual stated for me not to run my motor at idle longer than 10 minutes . It would make me re think of where to fish. Who should we call or e mail and complain to?

Would that apply to the river? And if so, I guess i would have to buy a john boat and trolling motor.

ALREADY EMAILED HIM, it would probably be wise for everyone else to do the same.

Chris will they have any Pumas available for the test drive ?
Will they let me drive one, or is it a passenger only like the Skeeter test?
I got a crisp $20 bill with your name on it if you pull my name on the Tundra bro.

look up alan glascow's puma for your test drive, tell him you want to get behind the wheel for a few seconds, tell him i said its ok,, he just might let you do that... $20, thats all, for a 40k truck.... good luck,,, get a black/blue jig,, swim it all day on the grassy points on the river, and grassy banks (shady)

$20 was just the open man. I can negotiate. Thanks for the tip on the jig. Got a friend getting ready to buy a BCB, you going to be at the shop or at paradise during the test days? I wanted him to talk to you before he buys.
