Southern members vote for your weekend to fish - Deadline to vote is 9/30/06

The Southern area is defined as the water to the South of I20 East and I20/I59 West. To keep this fair, only the guys and gals in the Southern area should vote in this poll. Okay, I technically live in the Northern area but I will vote in the Southern poll because I will direct the tourneys and fish primarily with this group. Dang, I'm the first one to break my own rule. Any weekend is ok with me. I have to work every third weekend, so my ability to make it to the tournaments depends mostly on my work schedule. I think that some of the guys here in montgomery fish another club that is on the second weekend each month. If I had to choose I would say the south should keep the third weekend.

Winn.. I can fish any weekend so it don't matter to me. But down here in my area there are several other local clubs that fish on the 3rd weekend that I fish with some times. But Im good with any weekend we go with.

We fish Mitchell yeaterday there were only about 6 or 8 boat fishing. Seems like it was a week a day that is why we like the 4 th week end.

Seems like the 3rd weekend is best. I agree. May not be able to make them all, but the 3rd weekend provides the best opportunities.

Looking at the northern poll most of them want the third weekend where as the southern poll has mostly "it don't matter to me".

I cast my vote for the first Saturday of the month. It's easy to remember, my other club fishes the second Saturday and I could still fish sometimes with the northern boys if they choose the third Saturday.

Shoofly is right. The Northern vote is 11-0 at this point so the 3rd weekend is a lock. I know several of the Northern guys want to fish with the Southern group as much as possible so if you voted for the 3rd weekend please reconsider. I will fish with you guys as much as possible on any other weekend.

I would not mind it being the first sat of the month. That would make it where the two tournaments are two weeks apart every month. That would give everyone a good chance of fishing at least one each month and will keep the guys that want to fish both from having to be away from home two weekends in a row. Either way we go I will fish when I can.

I really prefer the third weekend because that's what I'm used to but in an effort to divide the weekends up so guys can fish either chapter I will vote for the first weekend. That is the only choice that will keep the fishing dates seperated by a weekend. The second and fourth weekends would be back to back with the third weekend. But, with all that said, we will fish the weekend that receives the most votes. Majority Rules.

im gonna change my vote to the first weekend. that way if the northern club fishes somewhere that i want to go (ie guntersville) then i could go and not leave you guys high and dry
