I have a Triton SF 21' and need some help!

Dear Bass People,

My boat 2002 (bought it new)
Triton SF21 (ski and fish)
Yamaha 225

My question has to do with a Jack Plate. My motor sits low and I was looking into what a jack plate would do for me. But I can't seem to find out for my boat what would be the best offset and height. Do you know where I can find this information.

Just looking for a little direction.

I HAD A 2007 RAGER REATTA 210 WITH A 225 HP AND MINE HAD A 6INCH JACK PLATE THAT HELPED.IT WAS NOT HYDROLIC BUT MANUAL.
SORRY ABOUT THE CAP LOCKS BUT I HAVE TO USE THEM AT WORK.

A 6 inch plate would help you quite a bit, not no 5 or 6 mph but it should give you 2 or 3 mph. Those boats are heavy in the front and do not have much lift to them at all. A 23 Vengance is the best all around prop but the Tempest 23 might be a little faster prop.
