i have an 03 stratos 17 xl that i would like to change from a single console boat to a dual console. can someone tell me if there is a port side console that would work on my boat. i called c & o marine and the parts mgr didn't think they made one but still trying to find something that would work without looking bad. thanks for any help Bill
I worked for Stratos and best i remember there wasn't a add on console for the 17
I wanted to add the passenger side console to my Stratos. I called Stratos and they told me that the only way to do it was to have certified Stratos dealer do it. They said they only do it that way due to liability issues.

Why would you like to switch to a dual console??? the single console have a lot more fishing room.

For me personally I went from a dual console boat back to a single because of the loss of so much room. Sure my partner whines like a little school girl now and again, but hey, it's my boat!!!
I know personally, I could never get a single console boat. Wife wouldn't be happy, and if the wife ain't happy, I ain't happy.
The I look at it is... We aren't square dancing so who cares how much floor space is taken up the the 2nd console? We spend 99% of our time on the front deck with our foot on the trolling motor pedal. Right?... Dan
