ok Guy need imput theboat has a 6" jackplate and a Shooter prop it sucks coming out of the hole like a transmission is slipping and i know it dont have a trans
and if you a moving along it takes a long time to get her up on plane
any suggestions ???? Need Help
Sounds like a blown hub? Or pitched to high .
I run a 24p Renegade, but can run a 25, IDK about a 26p.
When you are coming out of the hole are your RPMS normal, or does it take a while for them to get up too?
If they are normal I sounds like a hub as rchavis said.

Sounds like the prop is venting to much. Or a spun rubber hub.

If it comes up on plane and runs, even though it slips, then it is not a slipped hub. The prop is just venting too much and spinning too many rpms. You either need to work on setup (where the motor is set) or try a different prop. That shooter is really not the best prop for that hull. I would say to find a 3 blade Raker or Tempest to try.
