Sadly, some folks, when they get upset, do not take the high road. It's really not about the decal. It's about the loss of a entire company/brand with a 35 year history. And the loss of so many, many jobs. So very sad for all.
Stratos makes some mighty fine boats. I would never denigrate the brand. Friend had one and I thoroughly enjoyed fishing out of it... Other friends here in my area have Stratoses and they are some of the sharpest looking boats...no doubt there.
I hope folks will settle down. Bashing accomplishes nothing.

Lea, I totally can appreciate being upset for the loss of the Name and History. But, personally, I was worried the boats were going to be lost for along time. Thankfully, They were not. Your point is valid however a lot of the guys aren't even mentioning that aspect of it
Some of the comments are unbelievable given the predicament Champion was in. Build quality the same??? Do some of those Champion faithful understand that Champion and Stratos were built side by side under the same roof for years now?
I imagine if you closed your eyes while driving a new Champ Elite Stratos you could not tell the difference.

I would certainly hope so, since they are using the ChampioN molds...
"Side by side" is gone. Now it won't be the same folks at all..for either boat...
We just have to wait and see what happens with both our brands.
I have never rode in a Champ, but there is one thing I wish Stratos would keep and make it better. That is the console. I love a Champ console.
