Looking for comments from SX200 owners. The good, bad, and ugly. I have my eyes on a 2001 that is absolutely perfect, low hours kept inside, with a Yamaha 200. It has a tandem trailer, Lowrance electronics with GPS, and it does not have a jackplate. Does this boat ride good, ride dry, perform, fish well, etc? What would be a good price for this boat? Thanks for comments.
I have an SX200 and love it. Big stable fishin platform and runs good. Mines a 2002. More leg room than a ZX and sits a lil higher in the water. Doesnt come with a JP but i put one on it and havent had a problem in 5 yrs. Price wise id say anywhere between 9-13K.
i sure do love mine..bigger than the zx of that class and if you do the ratings as far as speed and stuff from factory i do believe the sx will keep up with a few of the bigger rigs..not all but maybey the next class up..i got a great hole shot and a top of 70.1 with the wife and i in our siggy below..oh.....and the savings..with all the money you save you can afoord the upgrdes as you feel needed...
I have an 05 and love it.... runs hard, 71.9 gps two people half gas, empty livewells. runs 68 with full tanks, and tournament load.... very comfortable to fish from, the only down side is you're not suppose to put a j.p. on... and some of the bells and wistles you miss out on... but for the price exceptional boat.... to bad they don't make them anymore...
