has anyone ever gotten new keys Ignitionand or boxes. Did you order from skeete yama or what. my locallocksmiths don't have ignition keys

There are only a certain number of keys, your local dealer should be able to match you one up. box locks have less keys, they should also have some of them around too.

If you are running a Yamaha, if you pull back the rubber boot on the key, there should be a number stamped in it. Any Yamaha dealer should be able to order those keys.

And as to the locker keys, I think the only key code I've seen is SK01. Mine and 3 of my buddies have the same code and our keys fit all our boats (was not ordered that way, nor bought at the same time and all from different dealers in 2 states). I think that is the most common code.

I needed ignition keys. I went to my locksmith. He did not have the perfect blanks but he used motorcycle blanks and they worked. I think a great locksmith can do them for you.
