Livewell pump and Flow-Rite valve rebuild questions....

Well, I pulled my batteries and fuel tank out so i could see where the water was getting into my bildge area...filled the livewells and found that one of the flow-rite 3 way valves was leaking..My question is, are the rebuild kits for the valves ok to use? The cables and controls seem to be working fine...

I have the older what i think are orginal (1999) rule 360 pumps that are not the cartirdge type...while i got it apart, i am going to go ahead and replace them...what should i replace them with?? and if anyone has any that they want to sell, let me know...

I would use at least 500, but probably 750.

I have two 500 GPH pumps i would sale you but i would recommend the 700 GPH pumps. Work alot better than the 5's. As for the valves, you can buy the rebuild kit from Flow Rite ($10 a kit). But if the valve itself is leaking in the boat and not out of the drain in the back then it might be more of than just a repair kit, might have to buy a whole new valve with are around $35 from Flow Rite. You can buy direct from them.

Do not go less than a 750, IMO.

I went with a four pump system in mine. Also put the spray heads like ranger uses. They push in for re-cerc and pull for pump out. Now i can get all the pumps going at the same time. Good luck
