1996 ZX180

Hey Skeeter Guys, I have a line on a 96 ZX180 with a 150 Rude. Do not know anything about them, so I am looking for some good advice. Like other boat owners I am biased about the boat I currently own, 88 Cajun, so give me the straight skinny.

Got one, 96 ZX180. 150 Yammie. No problems here. all works as expected. I did install a Troll-EZE, though... Mine rides great, handles like a good Skeeter should and hasn't caused me any grief. Take it for a test drive and see what you think. If youre used to the 18ft size boat it should fit the bill........I have had issues with 2 people flinging 7 ft rods at the same time, the lures sometimes get a little too close to our heads for comfort. Other than that ..... I'm gonna get a 19 - 20 ft ZX or a BCB next time. Cheers

Thanks for the info. I will definitely test drive before I buy. My last 2 boats have had a Merc or Mariner 150 haning off the back. I am not sure what to expect out of the Rude. Have a few buddies that have them and they do not seem to have anymore issues than other brands. I guess I could go to the Evinrude Board and ask a few questions.

The boat turned out to be a scrub! Should have figured that someone wanting to get rid of boat they bought for a fiance, who turned out to be a scrub as well was to good to be true. The search continues!
