Looking for recommendations

Hey guys,

I have been talking to Jason Hale a little regarding a new boat. Here is my dilema and I am hoping someone will have a similar experience or can give me some advice. I am looking to get into a ZX 200. My problem that I have is that I have a fifth wheel camper that I am trying to sell. Once I get rid of it, I can get a boat, but I don't want to overextend myself and have a payment on 2 toys.

So do you guys know of a dealer that takes in campers for trade on a boat. Jason is looking into it for me, and I know a dealer in the southern tier of NY used to trade for them, but they don't anymore. I would be willing to travel to find a dealer. If you guys can recommend any I would be very appreciative. I would love to do business with Jason after all of the good stuff that I hear about him and his dealership. It is a little bit of a hike from Upstate NY but it might be worth it. So let me know what your guys thoughts are on this.

I would think you would always get more money for camper if you sold it privately.

Run an ad in your paper, list it on craigslist, etc. You will definately get A LOT more if you sell it outright, especially if everything works properly.

I definitely agree. However no one wants to buy it right now. We did just put it on a seasonal site near us hoping that it will help sell it. Depending how much I would get for it on trade would define whether I am loosing more money trading it in or keeping it on a seasonal site. We will see. I would much rather sell it privately but we will see what happens. Maybe can get someone interested in the spring.
