The prop is a 27M and i got 71 on a tourny at Fork on sat.. water was pretty choppy though and with 2 people.... i,ve hit 73 by myself.... both running at what the tach said was right at 5900-6000 rpms.... haven't done alot of tinkering with it yet.. does that sound about right or should i be able to get more out of this boat?

You're doing good at 71 with 2 folks in a tourney during September in Texas! You'll see the numbers improve a little as the temps drop. Congrats on your new Skeeter! She's a looker.

Sounds like you're hitting decent numbers. My 05' 225 is maxing out around 71 but i have a T1-27P that's not in the best of shape and turning 5500rpm. I'll be switching props sometime once i can figure out what i should get... a difficult choice when you can't try one. I'm thinking of a T1-25p or a TXP-26p.
