Best prop for SX200

Also, the SX200 came w/o a jackplate...can I add one? Heard it voids hull warranty... Why? Is transom that weak that a 200 plus jplate is a risk? Anyone know of a 2006 owner who installed a plate? Or a tuner or a Phase I kit? I would like to add a jplate and Phase I kit in 2008 if possible.

Talked to Skeeter..its a go on all mods but jplate... should all be done in October.. will post results-numbers after that...

Pics by the 15th... parts due to arrive this week... both mechanics booked this week... if I get the HP heads, a 27 prop will replace the 25...

BBC sponsors..PitStopMarine for KeelShield and Pro-Control tray = $285 shipped
HydroTec (Yamaha Rebuild) for the tuner-reeds-solid engine mounts (about +15hp)=$638 shipped... now that I am broke for a year... the HP heads will wait...add about $800 to install. what is ordered now..
I just borrowed $2,500 more when I got the boat to trick it out for the next 10 years, that is my style... at age 60 time is more a factor than ever.

The Phase I kit adds about 35hp... enough to run with any 225s. with a 200... that is all I ever wanted... most folks think the same...in 2007 all I am getting is about a 15hp bump...remember HP heads mean 89 octane and the Kit means a new prop...but long range... I sure liked it in my last boat (a ZX195)...Nathan at HydroTec will answer all questions.
