Can someone tell me the max HP rating for the 1997 ZX185?

I believe that it is 175 HP.

It may be 150. I had a buddy that owned one. He put the VMAX 150 TRP because it had the the higher gearing in the LU and was putting out the HP of a 175.

I've got the same year in the ZX176C and it's rated for 150. Of course I've been told that that was the last year my hull was rated for 150?

skeeterbill is correct, I have the same boat and I am running a ProV 175.

Thanks Guys for the info, Guy on ebay swears his has a tag that says 225 HP rating. I know my zx175 is rated for a 175 and could not believe that the ZX 185 was rated for a 225!
