Anybody ever owned or rode in a 1988 Astroglass Rival 178V ??
Never owned one but seen some of them. my dad had a 154V ( I think that is what it was ) anyway it was a 15 footer with a 115. Would fly. Smooth boat lots of room for a small boat.Astroglass made great boats, I wouldn't care to own a new one.

The 178V Rival is a 18 foot dual console rated for a 150 and weighs 1175 pounds.. It has a lot of storage in the back but is limited on the front.. It has a rear dual livewell and a single livewell up front which I am converting into storage.. It will hold 7.6" rods in the rod box and has more rod storage in the floor.. I am going to upgrade the 120 to a 140 with carb work.. I would like to put a 150 on it but I would need to sale my 120 first. It has a six inch jackplate and is in very good condition it hasn't been used very much it still had the factory sparkplugs in it.. I haven't got to the lake yet but that will change next week.. I will post how it does.. It is red and silver..
