    Ignition switch,

    is the switch proprietary to the engine, the boat or they just an off the shelf item. I think my switch may be going bad....................

    I hope its not costly, as mine is ave to wiggle it to get it to start.

    Buy an Evinrude/Johnson original switch, they are heavier duty than the aftermarket cheapies that are on a shelf.

    That I'll do, Haven't looked at it yet, will marine wiring code colors match up to my wiring harness more than likely?
