Just a quick one.....for the 1/4" pin to secure the coupler on the trailer - is it a 2.5", 3.375", or 3.5" span?
I think I'm going to order a locking pin made by Trimax (unless anyone has a better suggestion), and need to know what span to get. Thanks!

The top of the coupler measures 3 inches. There is a recess where the pin goes through on each side. So the actual length from side to side is slightly less than 3".
