I think the better question is what did I miss? Answer: Not Much!Drilled a log on the way down (never saw it) but the main damage came when I was stuck on a mud flat. Tried blowing out with the motor trimmed up, slinging mud everywhere. Well, there must have been a stump or log on the flat. Tore the prop up pretty good. Took it off a little bit ago, pretty sure it's spun too!
My second prop in three weeks. This river is kicking my but this year. If things keep going the way they are I'm gonna spend more on prop rework than I spend on the boat!

wow, joe thats rough. i ding up my props, but they are usually runable. Maybe you should just stick to the main channel and turn the throttle down a notch or 2.Or do like me and fish right next to the boat ramp.
I put a limit of 15lbs in the boat yesterday and never started the big motor.

I could've used a jet boat sunday! The pool we were on had all the weeds killed last year in the flood. So it was to try and find some back water. Bad part about that is most of the backwater on that pool is nearly unaccessible. I really didn't even want to fish that tournament. Being so close in the points race though I didn't have a choice

I would've gladly fished at the ramp yesterday, only problem is, there were already boats there pounding it from another tournament.![]()

What pool were you on?
Pool 19. It's not pretty. Still in ruins from the flood. Pool was basically cut in half when the weed beds by Montrose were swept away. Now the only part of the pool producing is the upper half. On top of that they had The Elite Series there and two BFL's in the last five weeks. It has been completely HAMMERED!![]()
wow that sucks. Fishing on 13 has really not been good for the last month or so, but I finally did decent about 2 days ago and the slop bite is starting to pick up.
