Id feel safer making a big # in the 183/280 than a 19' intimidator. I ran a 183 for yrs and have an outlaw now and I think the 183 would be more predictable. I loved my Ally for running topend VERY predictable, I see guys running hydrostreams super loose in the 80's like they have a death wish lol.

i rigged a hopped up 200 on my 183, that was putting out around 245 hp...boat was no where close to 90... ran 77 on its best..had a well worked bridgeport on a 19'3" intimidator..it was fast...still not out of the 80's...the boats are heavy...and it takes a bunch of power to push 1700 pounds to speeds over 80...you guys have to keep in mind that there are only a very few strokers that are running over 100 mph...and thats with the 300x...and a lot of mods...it wont happen with a gambler...i am very curious as to what duke can pull out of his rig though..he reminds me of myself a few years back...but i didnt have the 300x to play with...

Okay guys. With the fixed steering she ran good. With the boat still loaded, same 2 guys at 230+, same gas (20 or gallons) she ran 93.3 GPS at 6200-6300 RPM. Gauge is spot on to Smartcraft. This is also with one prop, I have a few more to test. All numbers have been with a Bullet Cut 28 Performer 4.

If I dump the troller batteries and pull out the fishing gear, one guy she should be high 90's.

Have a video we are posting on YouTube, be done tomorrow.

Also, from video motor looks to deep, I think we are gonna swap jack plates to get the motor higher.

The mid range is INSANE. From 40 - 90 is instant ! Best feeling in the world.
