OMC sealants

I was wondering what could I use to substitute:
1. OMC nut lock
2. OMC Gel-Seal II
3. OMC Adhesive "M"
4. OMC gasket sealing compound

1. Blue Locktite
2. Nothing, use Gel-Seal II
3. local auto parts store, weather stripping or body side molding adhesive.
4. Indian head gasket sealer

Type M is 3M rubber and gasket adhesive # 847. It is also sold as Sealer 1000 by Boat Amour.


Gasket Sealer is Perfect Seal #4, also available from Merc. Aviation Permatex is a close substitute. Of course, the small can with a brush included from an Evinrude dealer is only around $4.
