    Seat post?

Has anyone ever used one of these.

It adapts so you can use a 3/4" pin seat post.

I think i am going to try those also. It makes it easy to take the seat out and the adapter can just stay in. Unlike my current one wich requires a crane to get out

You should have tried getting the one's out of my 1989 model that had been in there since 89.

Yep, my 1990 176 had the "Taper Lock" bases and posts, but I used the adapter when I got a generic butt seat/pin type pedestal.

It only works for those who have the Taper Lock bases.

    Re: Seat post? (Lea)

Why did champion stop using the taper lock system?
    Or was it an option?

The only reason why I ask is because I really like the taper lock system.
