I recently purchased an 88 Champion and the recessed plastic inserts that surround the 2 front metal trolling panels are broken and falling apart. Is there any way to order new ones? I've thought about making something custom out of plexiglass, but I would rather keep it original and recessed so I don't accidently step on a switch or kick something. Any ideas, links, or photo's are appreciated.

Welcome to the BBC and to the ChampioN forum. You may try http://www.candomarineparts.com I have the same front panel on the starboard side and have had no luck in getting the recess, that doesn't mean you can't find them just means they are hard to come by.
