    first impressions

So I picked up the 200 elite today and went straight to the lake to test it out. after a few test runs I settled on 3 1/4 for the jack plate. Hit 72.3 mph for a short time(keep in mind I weigh 156 pounds and had next to nothing in the boat. That was a GPS speed on my lowrance 113). It rides much higher the ranger did, not a bad thing just different. I like the hot foot but it takes some getting used to. Ride was great, night and day difference from the 185 Ranger. You could put a cup of water on the front deck and nothing would slosh out, it was that smooth of a ride. Pop up cleats are great, like the dash and soft touch switches. Like the yamaha, nice and quiet and ran really well. Bow is super wide and it doesnt rock from side to side due to that huge beam

not crazy about the dual consol. I have always had singles so it will take some getting used to. Only real complaint is that front box is massive, wish they would have made 2 smaller boxes instead of 1 large one....

Really happy with it. After I drove it through a little bit of chop at 60 mph and it was just silky smooth, I knew I made the right choice in boat brands. Cant beleive I did not trade that ranger sooner

You will come to love the dual console. You fishing partner will love it even more. That is good numbers and the hull certainly does not have a hook in it with those numbers.

After a little more seat time in a Champ, you won't even consider looking at another brand . Sounds like you got 'er setup well. Congrats
