Steamfitter and WaYoop's big adventure...

I met Steamfitter (Paul) on this board, and figured he couldn't be all bad as we own very similar ChamPs We have been trying to get together since last summer and fish, and finally worked it out today. Fished Lake Whatcom, and had a really enjoyable day. Got a decent amount of fish, allthough the size was a little on the smaller size. I think they are just too well fed at this time of year, as the fish we were catching were very fat and hurling all kinds of critters on the way to the boat.

All in all a great day on the lake in the ChamP, with great company.

For the record I have abnormally large hands, and short arms, so I estimated the weight on this fish to be about 7 1/2 pounds - yea right

We were talking about trying Lake W today DT, but we are a-scared of the traffic not on the lake, just getting there

Glad to see you are still out there - what did you finally do about the pusher on your boat?

Would love to meet up on WaWa this summer and get some pointers. I am out of town starting Wednesday for a while, but will catch up and hopefully make plans when I get back.

On a side note, I now prefer to be called the "Sculpin King" - I caught a "trophy" 5" one today, and got a couple small ones last week

well my power head has moved to the floor in the garage LOL! Im still out fishing lots of other waters and tournaments of course. I was up at whatcom on the 13th and did well. Ran over to banks and fished a qualifier. Video at proangler.com Ill be over on Moses the 11th so after that Ill have some free weekend time to fish local waters again. talk to you guys soon!
