Well we hit nearly 60 degrees yesterday, all the snow is gone, so the kids and I took the covers off the boat! I couldn't resist putting the starting battery in and firing-up the old Merc! It started right up as if it had been run yesterday; after sitting for over five months! I am very happy about that! Warm rain for a few days this week and the ice should go out on Lake Pepin!! Yippee!

Thats pretty cool. Shouldn't be long now. Lake pepins got some good fishing to. out of curisousity MNchampion. How much snow is still up there north of you? I live on the mississippi river in Iowa and I'm just wondering if we're going to get a little bit of a flood.
I got out for the first time yesterday. It was sunny and windy and I got nearly airborne twice. I think I have the only Champ in this area and I had a couple of boats pull up and compliment my ride. Even a big R boat. My merc fired up right off also.

I actually work in Lake City. My office is right on Lake Pepin!! Tough to concentrate some daysOur snow is entirely gone. Water levels are also very low on the lake right now. I don't think there is much snow left north of here either. Glad we aren't on the Red River, though. They are predicting a record flood. It looks like the ice will go off of Pepin this week. Warm rain and wind can be a good thing
