I know a guy that wants to recover his seats and seat backs but can't figure out how to get the seat backs off. Any guidance?

If the bottoms fold up the backs are held on by screws that are on brackets sticking down if not I have no Idea and someone who does will be along shortly!
I have a 181 and I have no idea how I would go about removing the seat backs, sorry.![]()
My Father owns a 98 181. I recently lost the back part of this seat on a trip to the lake.
These just slide into a bracket on this model. So I would guess a good little tug would get em. No knowledge of any other models though...
Good luck.

He got the seat backs out and he posted his thanks.
"Hey guys thanks a ton for the help and ideas. I got em out. Inside or rather the center of the upright bench seat were held in there with heavy duty velcro! Those pulled out and behind them were screw heads. Zip, zip, eight screws and it pulled right out. Thanks again for all the responses."
