    Compression Numbers???

    I just finished the powerhead rebuild on my 85 150 XP. When I checked the compression on the cylinders I am between 78-82. Does this not seem low for a 20 over complete rebuild? I guess the real test will be if it can get out of the water under a load. Thanks

    Comp numbers are consistent, gauges vary. You are within spec. Let'r rip.
