Does anyone know which states this chip covers? Does it cover the same states as the Current Hotmaps premium Easts do?

It covers the same states, BUT the number of locations and the individual location detail is a lot different.
    A 2009 Premium card is 1 GB.
Even the 2006 edition card is 512 MB

    Browser Issue

Good morning Paul. I recently purchased a new computer. Today I tried to download my Navonics chip but receive this message: Ooops! Unfortunately your browser doesn't seem to be compatible with our download service. Try to use another compatible browser like Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari.

My browser is IE and my operating system is Windows 8, version 6.3. What do I need to do to load your software short of installing a different browser?

    Thanks.

Be aware that you can't update you're Navionics chip using Internet Explorer 11

We are currently working on adapting the installer to the new version 11 for Internet Explorer. Current versions as still viable. Google Chrome continues to be the best option or Firefox. We should have installer updated to version 11 shortly. meanwhile I'd suggest another browser for the moment.

Navionics is not the only one to have some problems with IE11; I went back to IE10 because many websites that I visits and post were not ready for the change.

I have seen quite a few hot maps premium east chips from 2006 with different months on them. Is there a difference between the different months in 2006 as to the content on the chip? I have always been told the 06 chip is one of the best for Ky lake and didn't know if there is a better month to look for. Thanks

That's getting pretty dated but my guess is that there was updates added to the cards. Most likely added information.

I have an elite7 HDI and a navionics hotmaps premium south. Does the elite7 have the "shading" option or is this something that the card would have to be updated with for this specific unit? Thanks!

I would recommend the new Navionics+. You create you're own map base on you're needs.
