Angelle grew up around the corner from me and was my Sophomore homecoming date.... She just announced that she will be having her second child sometime in November!

Just top fuel and funny car. It's still as good as ever, maybe more so. Seeing 315mph races decided by 27 inches is da bomb! Pro stock cars, bikes, and all sportsman classes are still 1/4 mi.

Whats the difference of 27 inches at 1000ft or 1320ft. I think they should go back to 1320. Thats what it is supposed to be. A car that wins a 1000ft race with a blown motor may have lost a 1320 run to the guy whos equipment stayed together. The ability to stop the cars after the 1/4 NEEDS to be built into the cars.

    Done.

+1....Cory, tried to get caught up with your brother at the Gator Nationals last week....got to the transporter as they were loading up. Best of luck to them for the remainder of the year.

On a positive... my friends the Westcott's that campaign the Hemi cars....Charlie Sr won yesterday at Belle Rose, LA. He cut a horrible light, however ran his opponent down for the win in the final.

    Richard....

Sorry you didn't get a chance to meet up with him... I thought about going to Belle Rose this weekend, as it is only about an hour from my house, but had WAY too many things to do, and I won't be around next weekend to do them.

    Larry.

The only problem was that they were going too fast at 1320.... can you image how fast the cars would be at 1320 if it is going 325 mph at 1000 ft? The cars cant handle another 33% of track and stay together AND be able to stop.

Well lets just call it NASCAR. Seriously this has been a gripe of the super bike guys for a long time. Find MORE HORSEPOWER. In my opinion the Harley boys have worked through alot of red tape already and they are dominating because they found MORE HORSEPOWER. Quit complaining and shut up and race. Nuff Said

How about you do some reasearch and realize that the ONLY reason that "found" more horsepower is because NHRA allowed them to have 4 valves per cylinder.

They didn't FIND more horsepower, they were GIVEN more horsepower, and the NHRA is allowing them to not have to sell those engines to anyone else.

Buell and Suzuki had to make their engines readily available to EVERYONE.... HD didn't have to do that.
