    Boat trailer parking brake install?

I need a trailer parking brake on my '06 Triton single axle trailer. Where would I purchase the device and what parts do I need? My driveway is on a hill and I have to use bricks, etc. to hold my trailer whenever it unhooked and not on a level. (I still block it on the level.) I assume there are different types of parking brakes available.

    Thanks!
    Ray

May be, but I've never heard of a parking brake for a trailer, aside from the bricks you mentioned.

To use one, I'd think you'd have to have regular electric brakes/drums, not surge brakes/discs.

My trailer has hydraulic disc brakes, and it has a parking brake. Without them, you need to keep using your bricks.

Ranger has a parking brake option for their trailers, don't know if you could adapt it to yours.

I'm not aware of trailer parking brakes, but if this helps, I use an small pneumatic wheelbarrow tire to act as a chock for my trailer jack wheel. The jack wheel rests firmly inside the tire, and the rubber wheel on it's side won't slide down an incline.

Thanks for the info. I am surprised that there is not more info on this anywhere I have looked. Could be a market?
