    2004 Evinrude 225 HO 200 hours?

    2004 Evinrude 225 HO w/ 200 hours

Is this an excessive amount of hours for this year model motor? It does still have warranty.

That doesn't seem to bad my 2005 250 e-tec has 115 hours on it now after 15 months of service (only 9 months of use due to hard water in winter).

Like Gary, It's not uncommon for some people to put those kind of hours on em especially in the sunny south. If the engine checks out, should be a good un! You would be $$$$$ ahead to get it checked for compression and leakdown test! JMHO

100 hrs per year isn't bad at all. Get the # off the motor and post it. Under 10/month.
