I wouldnt doubt if they charged ya for a sig. That place is a freakin joke. Same as the other guy said. All I saw was a fat black dude at the door. His job is to hustle you in then, hustle you out as fast as they can get you thru there. I quit watching the show I was unimpressed by my experience there at the Pawn Shop. That place blows!

when they said the autograph was 50, i would have told them that its not worth fifty and they are still alive signing more and more of them. offer them 15 and say im really taking a gamble here, cause im gonna have to frame it and list it on ebay. and it will probably sell for 30.

Then Rick turned back around, when the camera's weren't rolling and gave the Les Paul back to the owner.

If your buddy had to pay for the autograph, did he 'do some paperwork'?

Fakest show on TV behind Operation Repo. Every single "reality show" on TRU TV is nothing but 100% re-enactments. I know that most reality shows are now "scripted" but TRU is like a crappy soap opera with white trash actors who can't act.

This always cracks me up when Rick whines about all the work he's going to have to do in order to sell an item. Whaaa...Whaaa...Whaaa that's part of doing business and a customer should ignore it, although with some folks this appears to be a good negotiating tactic. I'd love to see a customer say in response, "Don't make your problems my problems" and walk out. But, Rick's a pleasure to deal with, compared to the Old man...even Chumlee has a better over the counter manner with customers!
"The man of system is apt to be very wise in his own conceit; and is often so enamored with the supposed beauty of his own ideal plan of government that he cannot suffer the smallest deviation from any part of it…He seems to imagine that he can arrange the different members of a great society with as much ease as the hand arranges the different pieces upon a chessboard.” Adam Smith, The Theory of Moral Sentiments

    Re: Pawn Stars (blazin461)

I'm surprised it wasn't $100.00 or more. These guys are making their money from being on TV and rolling with it. I don't see what the hype is. All it is is a pawn shop. All of a sudden they are on the tele and charge for anything they can.
