Navionics Hot map chips

I have a chip in my unit from 2005 I think and was wanting to buy a new chip. I have heard that some years are better than others?

Should I buy the new chip or look for an older chip to put in my HDS unit?

Any ideas where to find a chip that is a couple of years old?

The insight is better than Hot Maps here where I fish. On Hot Map IMO
