I take it Macbride is still sucking. Been there twice and have not had much luck. Last year was better and I don't think it was as warm...I have no idea what is going on with that lake...
Hey Joe, sorry I should of posted this last week, As always did great the weekend before, 4 over 16" and about 8 shorts all on rage tails up shallow, T-day was cold and rannywith 20+ mph windskilled my top water biteI did manage 3 that went 5.45 good for 6th. place
!st was 7.40 and big bass went 2.60.
lots of limits in that 5-5.75 pound range. Most caught them deep in the trees on worms or jigs. water was still gin clear and mid to high 60's. Oh yea, the road out there was a mud run good thing for four wheel drive![]()
Did ya hit that weedbed? I really thought they'd be biting better than that.

Did better than I thought I would. 2nd place with just under 10 lbs. The vast majority of my fish came on jerkbaits. Really dumblucked my way into my two keepers. Fortunate to say the least. My brother added a couple of keepers with a senko. Tons of follows, nearly every cast. Saw numerous limits but couldn't get them to commit![]()

all the locals said it just died off when that water warmed up,the guys that fished the deeper fish had alot more numbers but the weekend before the better fish were in shallow wanting to do their thing.
