Hpdi series 2 tilt and trim problems!

So like I said before I have changed my tilt nd trim unit for the third time. Yamaha has paid for it each time cause its under warranty. Yamaha says it's so ething wrong with my setup and I'm trimming too high!? Idk what they mean. I'm running it on a skeeter 20 I class. They claim they are not going to replace it again. I don't believe that's the problem and my mechanic says I need to call them and voice my opinion cause he's done all he can do. I think they just blowing me off cause they can't figure out the problem! I'm going to be a lil ugly when I call. I'm going to ask them what they want it set up at and I'm going to set it up to their standards and then see what happens. My rams keep mushrooming out on the ends and causing the seals to tear.done replaced entire unit once. Rods and pads twice.

I wouldnt emagine your missing the rubber pads on the motor where the rods contact or they are in the wrong location? Trimm it all the way up on the trailer and follow the travel and see what it does?

They replaced the pads but the ain't rubber. They hit in middle and then slide up but they say that's normal.

I would bet it's a problem with the rods them selves since your not the only one. What kind of motor toter are you using?

I don't know the name of it but it goes on the rods and the motor sits on it. I'm going to the old style where it goes from your foot to the roller on the trailer.

That's what I was wondering if the motor toter your using is not deep enough where it sits on the rods? You could measure the depth of the holes in the toter and the length of the rods and siff if it's resting and bouncing on the tips?
