i wanted a tune up , had no idea i was gonna be the first to try out the NEW RAKER 3......... you should have seen the guys at the ramp , one said he was an aircraft engineer and KNEW what it was , the other guys just sat in amazement and AWE.....i promise i thought the boat actually gravitated completely off the water...........................sorry Rusty , i'll go back to the 70 mph mark.BTW be sure and thank Kerry201pro for those 225 carbs, i think that did the trick . Kerry , will 100 take care of those carbs......

Hey Todd, Good to hear your motor is runnin sweet. What kinda prop was that again?

Hey is hydro sports ever gonna make bass boats again? The first really fast boat I was ever in was an all kevlar X 270 made for one of their pros. It had a merc 225 on it and would run in the high 80s with no problem. That thing only weighed 600 lbs.

Of course the motor had 150 cowlings on it.

I really liked the old VL 495s also. With a modern 200 it will run 80 also.

Congratulations Todd....proud to hear that your rig is running sweet. Now I'm going to have to check into a III for my rig. Wish you hadn't got me thinking of it again. Good luck with that rig and motor.
