Just a few mixed reviews. Some say they stayed sharp and the sharaded would cut through whatever rib cage you put in front of it. Others said they dulled fast and were prone to rust but sharpened up nicely. I know they normally sell for around $50 so I guess $30 wouldn't be a bad deal but I don't wanna buy more junk knives and with all the mixed reviews it's a gamble so far.

I clean Fish during the summer on the coast and through out the year locally for extra money. Been doing it for years. I use the 10'' serated knife from calcutta for red fish and offshore fish and it is awesome. The fillet knives are awesome but you have to keep them sharp! do not let them wear down, hard to get an edge.

My favorite knives are the Black Tip 9" fillet for thin skinned fish like Trout and sac a lait

I use the Dexter and Russell 9" fillet for smaller reds and other offshore species. The dexter and russell lasts alot longer and is a much better grade of steel.

hope that helped you. if you got any questions just ask
