DLAB, I would not run that gas cap on your oil tank. I think there is something special about that cap, like the vent or something. You might check with ToledoFreak, he would know for sure.

Dont think so, I cant reach my cap good so i tightned it with a pair of plyers and the top of it Blew up!!!! My lawnmower cap fit right on it!

I would not use it if not, but most mower caps are vented so you probably good.
