    Hotel in gonzales area

    Looks like we will be able to cut out Friday evening so the wife is wanting to go shopping i'n Gonzales and I wouldn't mind hittin cabelas. Thinking about staying the night there. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

    Hampton is right between Cablea's and Tanger outlet mall.

    Just keep in mind your still probably about and 1 hr and 15 min from the expo.

    I get off at 4 pm and might try to make the expo.

    Yea but it doesnt open very early Sat morning. It would be one less thing we had to do on the way home Sun and we would get there earlier Sat. Not leaving early enough to get there Fri for the expo or weigh in, so thought we would stay there for less $.

    Theres about 5 different hotels with in a half mile of Cabelas and the Tanger . The hampton is right there , but so is one more ( I cant remember the name of the other ) !!!!!!!! Cabelas and the Tanger are straight across the street from each other , but not walking distance ( unless your in pretty good shape ) !!!!!!

    Think I will stick to the Hampton. I want to sleep with both eyes shut.
    Yea Gun, Ive been there alot, but never stayed there. Always passin through so never noticed any hotels.

    I stayed at the Best Western across the interstate from Cabela's. It wasn't bad, but I'd probly go with Hampton.
