Well i waited and went to court like a dumbazz and got all with the DA and the judge, they kept it off my record and then hit me with the 275dollar fine for court costs, ect. They really helped me out! Gotta luv our justice system!

you missunderstood! He wrote the ticket for SPEEDING AND THE SEATBELT, the fine was over 200bucks to begin with! ITs over now and were even. Cant wait to build something for the DA or the Judge! Cabinets are expensive these days!

About 8 years ago I was pulled over and was spoken to like I was lower than a dog for stopping closer than 30' to a school bus. Yes I am & was guilty of being about 20' from the rear of the bus BUT the LA State Trooper that was an azz wrote a code on the ticket and the code description was for passing a stopped school bus which I did not know until I went to pay the fine. The fine was friggin high and it was too late to do anything soooo now I don't contribute to the LEO'S telephone solicitations anymore. I tell the solicitor that is calling the same story as above and then hang up. KARMA is a bitch!

Some steps:
1...be nice but serious/firm
2...request it be fixed at NO charge as "a comeback"
3...IF and only IF they get snarky, ask for the top person, calmly walk in to their office...explain the situation and imply you will pass along your "unhappy customer" situation in writing/fax to the district manager next week if this remains unresolved plus tell everyone you know. DO THIS IF THE WHOLE PROBLEM STAYS AND STAYS. Let the top guy at the dealership know that you did...he will get major grief.

Most all of these incidents are due to inept mechanics or lacking the diagnostic machinery IMHO.
Every business deserves a chance to "make it right"...but no more and no mercy beyond that. Been there, done that...it works and works and works and works.

Just got back from the Ford place. Talked to the owner. Did like you said, Reelman. I was real nice. Before I left, the mechanic hooked it up to his computer. Said it was an O2 sensor. My question was if the sensor went out in the 8 miles I drove it or did they miss it. They couldn't answer. I asked if the mechanic test drove it and checked the a/c. They couldn't answer that either. Left it with them. Gonna have to wait and see what happens.

Just remember Barry that if they don't fix it right this time you pass a perfectly good Chevrolet dealership on your way to the Ford dealership! That usually will get there attention!
